I am a licensed clinical social worker providing virtual therapy to adolescents, young adults, and families throughout Maryland.
For over eight years, I have worked in private practice supporting children, teens, and families through emotional challenges, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
Prior to private practice, I worked in a hospital-based psychiatric outpatient clinic in Baltimore, where I provided therapy to children, adolescents, and families navigating a variety of mental health concerns. I also have experience working with adults, giving me a broad perspective on development, relationships, and life transitions across the lifespan.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work in 2014, with a concentration in clinical social work and a specialization in mental health.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem concerns, school stress, family conflict, social challenges, and major life transitions. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. I have experience working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and am certified n Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am also trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), a parent-focused method of treating anxiety and OCD in childhood and adolescence.
In addition to my clinical work, I am approved to provide clinical supervision to social workers pursuing advanced licensure in Maryland. I enjoy supporting developing clinicians as they build confidence, strengthen their clinical skills, and grow in their professional identity. I also have experience providing clinical supervision and consultation to child and adolescent psychiatry fellows around psychotherapy cases, case conceptualization, and treatment planning.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our dog here in Baltimore. I feel honored to support clients and families as they navigate challenges and move toward meaningful change.
